Gideon Emery has worked on the stage, radio, and television, and as a stand-up comedian. He performed as Miles in the award-winning Cape of Good Hope, and as Matt Collins in Gustave. His numerous voice acting roles in video games (including, aside from Final Fantasy XII, Everquest II, and The Matrix: Path of Neo), commercials, and promos earned him the first Gold Craft Award for voice acting from Loerie Advertising Awards in South Africa, where he does most of his work.

Before becoming a (largely) video game voice actor, Ferguson worked behind-the-scenes in television.
