There's a map if you are heading south from the Mosphoran (spelling maybe off, lol oh well) Wasteland and you head west a few maps there's a piece of the map labled "???". I entered the map and there's a massive Sandstorm that will not let me pass. It says something like "The sandstorm is too strong to let you pass" or something like that and forces your characters to move back a few steps.

What is on that map piece?

Another question... I'm trying to find the magic Renew (i'm in the part of the storyline where I'm suppose to go back to Bolfheim (again I don't feel like looking up how to spell the places) Port and talk to reddas for the second time.

I looked in the strategy guide to find Renew and it said you have to buy it for like 32,000Gil in Dalmasca Westersand, where at? The person in the Camp doesn't sell that magic (I don't think the person sells any magic at all, I can't remember)

To answer your second question, I think you might be looking in the Estersand Village... Renew is available from the merchant in the Westersand, right before you enter the Ogir-Yensa Sandsea, but only if the storyline is far enough along. If you're sure that the story is far enough, then double check the Westersand. The only people in that area will be the merchant and one or two bangaa (I can't remember if the one ever leaves... my only clear memory is the second bangaa telling me how he almost got his tail blown off by a trap).

I dont think that was the question... SaferxSephiroth wanted to know about the small area where you cant go in because of a sandstorm. If you do the side quest to get windvane you should be able to beat Earth Tyrant (by the way I got disapointed after fighting it, I though it was harder xD ) About the Renew spell I bought it from that Bangaa Squrly Bandit pointed out.

Actually, you can still get a sandstorm, just not nearly as often. That's why they recommend getting the Entite in the Westersand before you kill the Earth Tyrant, because it only spawns during a sandstorm.

Oh, and I'm a she, btw.
