I love this new trailer. More Basch, Ashe and Larsa. 2 new CG cutscenes of the Archadian fleet, and Basch and Ashe ( wub.gif ). Too bad, I can't understand a thing.

Is it just me or does Ashe actually smile at him???

The graphics do look, as some said, a little more kiddy, but in some ways they remind me of FFXI (distorted proportions tongue.gif)
Shame Bashe looks more different to how he does in FFXII than the others. beee.gif

Wow. This little game is turning out to be quite anticipated. I really liked the trailer, though the quality wasn't that great. The CG graphics look pretty awesome. It's good to see that Ashe and Basch return to kick some butt. That Judge of Wings looks really awesome as well.

yess.gif And that's exactly what I wanted! Basch and Ashe fighting again... I really didn't think it would happen, but now... to have the original 6 playable characters from FFXII back in action--it makes me very glad.

Ashe & Basch, i thought this might happen...lol.It would be good for Ashe i think, she deserves something good after all that happened to her.And Basch is just so cool and laid back it seems.

The DS sequel might have some of the scenes I was hoping to see in FF12…scenes that should have been there in the first place IMO (character interactions/development, emotions etc…)
…and who knows, the Wedding I mentioned once, maybe it doesn’t seem to be too far off after all. But what about Vossler? He cannot be forgotten.

Anyway, I always considered Basch to be a little ‘boring’ looking. But here, with the new art-style, they gave him an added “edginess,” it makes him appear more interesting in a way pour moi.

Has anyone seen the Art Work with Ashe in a bikini, and basch behind her on the beach?
Anyway, isn't Vossler dead? He died on the Shiva, in the explosion caused by the dawn shard.
Though i wish he remained in the game longer. He looked very much like Balthier though.
Yeah he looked drab in FFXII, his clothes looked to tacky, he wasn't the upstanding character i would have liked anyway.
That seems to be changing in Revenant Wings.
And a Wedding? Basch and Ashe? I really don't see that happening at all.
Though since there isn't really any royalty left, i guess shes free to marry whom she wishes.

Ashe could have some flashbacks; Vossler protected her for 2 years; I am sure some interesting things must have happened during this long time period. I think that Vossler also developed strong feelings towards her.

Yes, it was sad when he died; but I was also upset because they could have done so much more with his character, he had a lot of potential IMO
But there is no use arguing about that now, still, I was hoping they would have giving him at least a proper farewell.

Anyway, mainly it is just me wishful thinking here I guess.

I hope they do but I'll be satisfied if SE confirm that they are together. Wedding bells would be great but as long as they hook up together, even if they decide to take one step at a time, I'll still be happy.

My opinion on Kytes changed drastically after watching this trailer. Earlier I didn't like him in FFXII and I don't like to see him return as a main cast of RW. But after what he said to Basch... I think I like him better now.

I am so going to create a third Basch x Ashe fanvid to celebrate the revealing of this trailer. I'm giddy all over after seeing this....

I don't know yet if I should get this game or not. I don't have a DS, so I need more motivation to buy a new console just for one game. wink.gif

Too bad we can't understand the trailer. Anyway, the FMV clips look amazing on the Nintendo DS, although the sprites could've been better. There was basically alot of dialogue. I seriously want to see more gameplay.

and that new judge guy or whatever he is... looks like a cross of all the judges that existed in the game... the FMVs do look good, for a handheld console... but as for the sprites... KHCOMs look better.
