Gosh, I haven't posted here in forever, sorry guys! And RB, PM me your phone # again, I can't find it anywhere. Well, I've had a lot going on in my life, and I kinda cheated and copied my post in The Hippie Family thread, but it's a wall of text and this was much easier.

Ok, about me. I think you all know about my mother having the cancerous growth. Well, she had it completely removed, and the specialist did a test (which I think involved putting dye in her lymph nodes) and he removed 100% of the cancer. So no radiation or chemotherapy. I am so relieved and happy.

I decided to not attend uni this summer. I did last year, and I think I am due for a break. I'm already working 40-50 hours a week, and I need some ME time. We are planning on attending a few concerts this year. I'll let you know which ones, and I'll make sure we take plenty of pics. I think we'll be seeing Blue Oyster Cult next month. I've already seen them live, they are awesome! smile.gif

Walt was finally approved for short term disability, so now he has medical benefits and a small income. It is helping us immensely. I can't wait until he can have his surgery, and feel back to his old self again. This injury really affects his state of mind. Poor guy. I love him so much, and I hate to see him in pain.

I bought a new car! (Well, a used car, but new to us!) It's a '97 Chevy Blazer, with leather interior. It's forest green, and so pretty! And compared to our old piece of crap, it's like a luxury car! xD

I did slip up and get involved with some drug use when I was dealing with the constant worrying about my mother (mostly prescription downers and strong pain meds), but I'm not doing it anymore. I knew it was time to stop, and was able to do it with the help of my boyfriend. I feel ashamed, considering I used to have a cocaine addiction, and I honestly know better. . .but I did it, I totally quit, and that part of my life is over. I refuse to dwell on it.

Enough about me, I just heard from Sahar via emai. She'll be back home soon, she was registering for college at the time she e-mailed me. She said she's doing well, and she's happy. I'm so glad to hear it, I was a bit woried about her. If you read this, Sahar, I've missed you bunches. This family is not the same without our Elder, hunny. <3

I hope you all are doing great. Peace.

Doing great! Just graduated high school, and now I'm moving on to greener pastures in uni. Can't wait to go!

How have you guys been? I'm sure I could flip a few pages... or about a hundred or so, but that would take too long. I hope you guys are doing well. I've really missed it here.

Good for you, MoR! I'm glad to hear you are excited about uni, too. Have you decided on a major? Is it art related?

The family has been OK, except 'Chiko. But I talked to her recently, and she should be back home by next month.

I'm glad your back, we missed you too. It's too bad you decided to return when the forums were dying. Oh well, we have FFNext.

It's been almost 10 years since anyone has posted in our family thread, I had to bump it one last time in memory of the great Viera family.
