I know a lot of you guys don't even remember me, but I did used to be an Admin here. Anyhow, you're probably wondering just what on earth I've been doing since I've taken off. Well, this summer I traveled on the USAF's dime and went to Euro-Nato Joint Jet Pilot Training (ENJJPT) and flew a T-37. On top of that, I also flew to Travis AFB in CA for training. Those of you who do know me know that I'm aiming to be a pilot, so this was just one step closer to realizing my dream.

I commission as 2nd Lieutenant in the Air Force in a couple more years. I can't wait!

Welcome back, Stealth. I wondered what happened to you...

Anyway, I didn't do that much really. I did some reading, earned a little money, took it easy, conditioned for the fall season...not much else.

Nice job Stealth! The Air Force is a very exciting way to go for pilots. I was once on the path to being a pilot, but changed it due to several reasons.

Summer in Australia is from December to February, so that was a while back. Anyway, I spent it working, going out, playing indoor soccer/squash, organising Uni stuff, travelling overseas, and other general things.

Edit: Btw, it looks like you've got a G-suit on cool.gif Learnt lots about them a week ago, and got to try one on myself smile.gif

Congrats Stealth on getting another step closer to your dreams.

This summer I worked mostly with autistic kids and I also worked out 4 days a week and ran two days a week. I had a brief vacation to Washington D.C. and met some friends in Philly.

Having to pursuit my career of becoming a diplomat in language arts, I took a couple classes during summer, which were journalism and American history. I took them in order to have my fall semester less packed. The classes were only 6 weeks long. Also luckily for me, the instructors both were easygoing and not as strict, so the session went by like a breeze.

After finished my summer session, I, along with my younger brother, we've paid a visit at my aunt's in Los angeles. During the visit, other than having a cozy time with them, we also went to a few attractions and dined in several exotic restaurants. Time and money were well spent. I wouldn't say my summer of this year was boring, since I pretty much used up my time efficiently.

By the way, welcome back, Stealth.

Welcome back Stealth.
I still haven't forgotten about April fools though >_______>

xD

//

I spent 2 weeks of my summer in France but apart from that I haven't done much. Tis been a fairly boring break. Can't say I look forward to going back to college though.

Stealth, you're alive. shok.gif
Well, welcome back if you're here to stay, and congratulations! cool.gif

Hmmm...How I spent my summer...
I went to summer camp, attended and enjoyed two rock festivals, went swimming at a pool, went to the coast (Belgian coast ftl but the atmosphere was great), ate whole herds of cattle at two barbecue-parties, met up with old mates at town festivals, watched a lot of anime, lost cash at a poker night and I still have a ping-pong-tournament, subscription at university and a class reunion planned.

It's been a fun summer. Definitely. smile.gif

Welcome back, Stealth. (You won't know me, and I won't know you ;) But sounds like you had some fun. Good one.

LL's summer was/and still is:
Boring. :D To be honest, I haven't done really anything exciting. I went to flamingo land, I've done a bit work... (still doing that, now) done a bit study, here and there. (Japanese). Went out with friends, played games... etc. Normal teenage life, minus the Japanese study. Not very common. ^_^;

It's been fairly enjoyable, I suppose. Could of been worse. :D

Wow, seems like you had an intense summer!
-----

Basically this summer, I took a Japanese class and I've been hanging out with my friends since we're all going to different colleges. Lately, I've still been seeing my friends and slowly packing up for college. My summer still isn't over, though.

Yeh. I don't know you and vice versa but how exciting! Good for you.

This summer I pretty much worked but I hardly did that even. Did do a lot of gaming (wasting time) and the occasional shopping spree. Was able to catch up on a few commissions that have been lingering around for some time.

Well wb.

that's awesome.

i could be starting a few flying lessons in the coming weeks, not quite the thrills of a jet though xD

hopefully you'll make 2nd Lieutenant, you look rather the part in that jet. i'm hopefully starting cpl training a couple of years after my degree, assuming i get the p/ir licenses in time.

my summer was fun, few house parties & random gatherings. spent two weeks traveling around the various greek islands...missed out on athens though, fairly annoying.

Welcome back dude.

Anyhoo, I've been spending my summer getting ready for college, going to warped tour (last one this saturday), hanging out at the mall, getting my business in order (stuff like dental insurance/passportetc.) and playing a few games.

Glad to hear your that much closer to becoming a pilot. It looks really awesome. Good luck. smile.gif

Whoa, it must have been an awesome summer then. Welcome back

As for me, this summer has been basically working my ass off harder than ever and this last week doing a trip to America. And now another week of relax until I start to work again

Whoa... *head explodes*. Stealth that is awesome!! You left before I joined so I never really got to meet you, but I have aspirations to become a pilot one day too. When I finish my degree (3 more years) I'm hoping to sign up for the RAAF and if I'm fortunate, get to fly the jets. I've had a few lessons in some light Cessnas but man... zipping around in one of those T-37s must have been bloody sensational!!!

Goodluck with getting into the RAAF. I met a few RAF pilots at Enjjpt, as well as Luftwaffe guys. They were pretty awesome. Though I take it RAAF is Australia?

Ace Combat 5 was an awesome game by the way. (Currently making an AC6 fansite!)
