Hey guys!

Up until recently I'd only bought quite a narrow selection of games, so I was wondering if you all knew of any top-notch classics that maybe didn't get the publicity they deserved. Obscure, unmissable RPGs or whatever.

I looked at my gaming shelf and saw little but Final Fantasy, so I started looking into Valkyrie Profile and such. Are there any really great games out there that don't get the credit they should?

If you have a 360 then you need to try Oblivion, Lost Odyssey, and Mass Effect.

I'd also play the Witcher for PC.

I think you guys missed the "under the radar" part of his post. O_o I mean, except for The Witcher, all of those games are huge.

Stella Deus: Gate of Eternity.

Strategy RPG - I had a good time with this game. But I have heard many do not like it.

Legaia 2: Duel Saga is an ok RPG. This isn't a great, but I did like the story. What ruined it was the need to level up very often and battles go on forever. But it had a very good system for creating items and weapons and as I said the story was nice.

You should try Grandia 2. Famous maybe, but I had never heard of it when I bought it.
I just loved playing this. Fast paced battles. It's graphics = outdated, but do not let it scare you.

Wild Arms 3 was also a game I liked. I like most things in this game. Very solid game.

Dang it Jeg, I was gonna say threads of fate. Check our Vagrant Story for PSX if you haven't already. It's not necessarily under the radar but it could always use more exposure.

aw no I cant stand Vagrant Story! The story was absorbing but I hated the battle system and couldn't get more than 2/3 hours in.

Hehe, yeah I didn't think about that when I posted. The Witcher is worth a playthrough though.

I'm not sure if The Legend of Dragoon would be considered an "under the radar" game, and all I know is that many did not like it, but it was an awesome game. I'd suggest getting it (for PS1).

^I had never heard about him before, but his videos are classic. I've watched about 5 of them since you showed me the Witcher one. I especially enjoyed the Drake one and the Bioshock one.
